The presentation of the Project “Time for Leaders” and several its activities was given on 26 November 2009 in Vilnius. The translation of the book “The Essential Drucker. The Best of Sixty Years of Peter Drucker's Essential Writings on Management” by P. F. Drucker into the Lithuanian language was also presented during the event, which was attended by numerous participants representing the education community, non-governmental and other organizations.

The first report was made by Ričardas Ališauskas, Head of the Strategic Planning and Analysis Division of the Ministry of Education and Science. He presented the Project, its initiators, undertaken and planned activities.
The speaker shared with the audience his considerations about the concept of the leader, leadership and the Project target groups as well as deliberated on drives that might promote leadership in education. R. Ališauskas also referred to values discerned by P. F. Drucker, his views about people, organizations and leadership.

Another speaker at the event was Dr Dean Fink from Canada. This expert in education development and consultant delivered an expressive report, which disclosed that the current education system is challenged by problems of a technological gap, standardization and demographic change.

The floor of the second half of the event was taken by two speakers, Dr. Gintautas Cibulskas and Darius Radkevičius. They spoke about human and technical aspects of organizations drawing on ideas put forward in the book by P. F. Drucker and their own perceptions.
