The presentation of the Project “Time for Leaders” and several its activities was given on 26 November 2009 in Vilnius. The translation of the book “The Essential Drucker. The Best of Sixty Years of Peter Drucker's Essential Writings on Management” by P. F. Drucker into the Lithuanian language was also presented during the event, which was attended by numerous participants representing the education community, non-governmental and other organizations.

Five innovative ways to combat intolerance and discrimination in the labor market, today presented by the European Community Initiative EQUAL promoters. One thematic network united project had helped to the ethnic minorities, economically week regions and for refugees who needed asylum to integrate into society and the labor market, economically week regions and for refugees and asylum.

"During the four years we have assured that cultural differences influences also the problem of unemployment" - told a thematic network project spokeswoman Ramune Mikstaite. " That is why our help need not only the ethnic and territorial minorities who was lack of social skills. The main aim of this project was to create a connection between  these target groups and local employers."

The conference dedicated to Political prisoners and expatriates, also for their family memebers who returned to Lithuania , was held in Vilnius to mark programme of the 1992-2007 years realization 15 years anniversary.

The aim of the conference - to produce the support of the State for the Political prisoners, expatrietes and their families who decided to return to Lithuania. The State undertake to refund the costs of migration, rental costs and support the other social integration costs.

Thje conference organised  to mark International Anti Violence against Women Day. The event was organized by the Social Security and Labour. The conference deals with the problem of domestic violence in Lithuania, the prevention and the effectiveness of violence against women in the family to reduce complex legal issues and help women affected by domestic violence. It also deals with state violence against women, the reduction strategy. The Goal of this strategy - consistently, comprehensively and systematically reduce violence against women.
