In this business mission, gathered participants from 25 European countries, united in their goal to make the most promising contacts. For the fifth time at the conference, tourism professionals and the Lithuanian State Tourism Department brought back from Croatia, an impressive amount of useful contacts which is likely to help Lithuanian's future tourism related business events. "Lithuanian's tourism potential at the conference was really great. In addition, there is growing interest in our other facilities. Our goal is not only to present their uniqueness and strengths, but also to join the professional ranks of the tourism conferences and taking over their experience, develop, and achieve a leading position", tells director of the STD DR. .Raimonda Balnienė.
The Lithuanian State Tourism Department thanked the CONFEC blue 2011 forum, which brings together the largest and most serious conference tourism company executives and representatives of the EU and Lithuanian companies participate and develop a dialog which assists in the development of Lithuanian tourism.
State Department on the successful appearance of the Lithuanian representatives in the international forum and achievements, which, in the near future, have an expectation of positive feedback. The success of Lithuanian tourism companies and actors is reflected in Lithuanians managing to make many contacts from 25 European countries and their markets. The largest interest in Lithuania tourism was received from France, Germany, Belgium and Russia.
"They would first come to know the country, the capital city and then you have to have some understanding of what this region, as it is exclusive. Therefore, the Forum was not talking about specific events in Vilnius, Lithuania", tells the TIC and Vilnius Convention Bureau spokeswoman V. Girčytė. Girčytė.
However, the European tourism professionals involved in the forum were shown by representatives of Lithuanian tourism industry a trend that businesses are starting to look for something new, and try to organize more conferences in other countries and other regions. Therefore, increasing of interest to potential organizers of conferences is to visit and get to know new places, such as Lithuania, in order to professionally evaluate and propose a new direction for future international events. |
At 23-26 of June in Split, Croatia was one of the most significant events of the conference of tourism professionals' blue CONFEC 2011.
