unseen_ltThis is Lithuania

The old European superpower of Europe, Lithuania, is the southern-most of the three Baltic countries.

The past of Lithuania can tell an impressive story about a forgotten empire stretching from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea.

The capital Vilnius is a wealth of steeples and church towers reminding the visitors of the nation’s history. The Old Town of Vilnius is known as a beautiful Baroque city, but you will also find Gothic, Renaissance and Art Nouveau styles.

The modern part of Vilnius offers shopping, restaurants, hotels, theatre, culture, museums and entertainment for any taste and age.

The Lithuanian countryside is flat and in the southern part you will find rare virgin forests.
