OVERVIEW AND AIM
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES conference is hosted by the biggest technical university in the Baltic states - Kaunas University of Technology. First organized as part of "Lithuanian Science and Industry" conference series in 1995, in Kaunas, Lithuania, the event turned international in 2008 immediately attracting attention from academicians from all over the world. The 2011 iteration of the event will again be aimed at the promotion of multidisciplinary approaches and methods designed to further simplify the convergence of social and IT requirements as well as accompanying technologies. We kindly invite our old academic friends as well as new contributors to join the debate sharing the knowledge on system analysis and design, hardware and computer networks as well as other relevant topics.

The Conference will be held at Kaunas University of Technology, Kaunas, Lithuania. Situated in the center of the country, Kaunas is the second largest city in Lithuania. Covered in greenery, calm and laid back, the town and its surroundings are rich in cultural and historical heritage. Confluence of the two largest rivers in Lithuania - Nemunas and Neris - hosts XIII century Kaunas castle and the cozy Old Town. The Center of the city is the mix of modern and retro vibes as a result of the growth the town underwent in the first half of the XIX century, when it was the temporary capital of Lithuania. Kaunas is a young city too, as there are 6 universities and the largest student community in Lithuania.
